Clark Kent, Bruce Wayne,.....Mike Dee
Mike in his normal life doesn't expect the enemy to know his weaknesses, but unfournately he knows Mike Dee Very well..
The Day starts of with our normal being twenty minutes late to work and also burning up without the A/C to keep the sweat from forming on his body. So the long day begins with a wet shirt and a tune stuck in his head from his trusty ipod. Time slowed down as if the world was trying to toture him by making him feel stuck at his dead end job..Good plan but he can take it no problem. The Shift ends later then the awaited sooner...
He hops in his Infernus Corolla and his journey for home ended before he could realize he was driving. There's something that is weakening our average joe hero...There is something not right about...something. He can't figure out what it is and just lets go unquestioned.
So he opens the door and the training must begin. Picks up his guitar, which is becoming apart of his arsenal, and trains until his fingers are sore and he feels his eyes getting heavy...
As he rests, his sisters comes to mind...and his Big brother senses are tingling and the weak feeling he was getting earlier comes back stronger than ever...
He calls both their cellphones but they can't be reached...so he calls home his mother picks up the phone and explains to him she has taken away their phone because of the evil Deeds they have done...He talks to one and knows she is not as innocent as she seems but gives her a little advice..."Respect your mom she loves you"
When he talks to the oldest sister...He is weaker and becomes almost powerless as he finds out the evil Deed she has done...A piece of kryptonite jabbed into his chest....She has no idea that she is killing him inside with her foolish acts of self-indulgence....
"You are smarter than that, I know you are.." he says.
He begins to tell her about how guys should talk to girls and what she should look for and not look for...and how to use her brain....
and tells her I'm only looking out for you and I love you.
He also tells her the reason he does his superhero work...
For God and my two little sisters. To make the world a better place for mine and everybody Else's siblings...
He hopes he talked some sense into her rebellious skull and maybe she wont be another Stereotype......
Stereotypes
Later that evening another attack to the normal Mike Dee....
To be continued....

Nice post Mike Dee. I hate it when there's times when someone loves someone else so much, they want to make their choices from them, but we can't. I have a little sister too so I know how you're feeling..if she ever gets close to a guy I don't like (not that it all had to do with guys) I can't hardly take it.
And for steryotypes...they suck. I think we are all guilty of steryotyping to some degree, but I think individuality is something God distinctly put in each of us, and for people to assume things just because they may be a part of a certain class, belief, or group, is just wrong.
Dude. Best post so far. This is probably the most transparent and honest I've seen you in a while. You really blessed me with this and also burdened me, in a good way.
I know what you mean when you say that something isn't right with... something. It's like, we're anxious and tired, ready and bored, all at the same time. I get that too. There is something BIG just waiting to happen, but we can't find the motivation to get started. Well I know this, if anybody is good for the challenge, it's you my man.
I'm praying for your sisters.

I really like your analogy of your life to that of a superhero. You ARE a superhero and I know that you'll be one of the greatest ones that ever walked this Earth. Satan tries to keep us down and he'll do whatever it takes to do so. He knows us better than any but God Himself. But you're smarter than he is and you've got the Almighty God on your side so there's nothing to fear.
Something is not right with...something. I agree with Dan. We all feel it. But when the time comes, you and your friends...all of us...will be ready for it. We're on the verge of something. It's nearing.
As for your sisters, I understand. I'm the oldest of four and I know what's it's like to worry about your younger siblings. Sometimes (knowing what I know now) I look at what they are doing and I just want to knock some sense into them. But like Brandon said, you just can't. The best thing to do is what you are doing...talk to them and let them learn from your experiences. Be a good model and give any advice you can. That's really the only thing that can be done.
Good post, man. I absolutely loved the way you narrated it. You should get to work on the Son of Death comic book. I might try to emulate how you wrote this. It's really well written.
